Comment on the consequence of their belief.
Ask:
- What’s the consequence of this belief?
- What will happen if they continue to think this belief?
Statement: Finding a new job is very hard.
If you keep on thinking this belief is true, you might never find a new job.
Statement: His laziness at work makes me very angry.
If you get angry at your coworkers’ being lazy, there are so many other things that’s worse that might make you feel angry, and you will never find peace.
