Ask:
- Where did they learn that?
- How do they/you know if it’s not true?
- Attach the source or evidence of the belief.
Statement: Finding a new job is very hard.
How did you come to believe that finding a new job is really hard?
Statement: His laziness at work makes me very angry.
How do you know he is not working hard at work?
